RTW Trip Spain Day 22: Travel day from Valencia to Cordoba

We woke up very early to catch our bus to go to Cordoba.  We got an ALSA bus that cost €93 for two people.  It was more than expected but we weren’t going to attempt Blablacar again.

We arrived to our AirBNB pretty late, so after we settled in, we just stepped out for some beers and free tapas.  We went to a couple places our AirBNB host suggested, but I felt like you could have gone anywhere and your selection would have been fine.

What we spent:

AirBNB $39
Alsa Bus from Valencia to Cordoba €93
Train to bus station €4
Bus to AirBNB from Cordoba bus station €2.20
Shrimp, salmorejo, gazpacho, and beer €6.5
Beer and tapas €5.20

Total cost: €110.90 + $39 = $175.25 / 2 =$87.63 per person

What I learned: Cordoba is filled with free tapas.  Bars generally have a selection of tapas to choose from.  Each drink (regardless if it’s alcoholic or not) includes one free tapas!  Also if you need to print bus tickets from Alsa, it maybe easier to purchase them from the station so you get a printout.  In addition, to buy tickets with a credit card on their machines, your credit card needs a chip with a 4 digit pass code.
