RTW Trip Goa, India Day 78: Having a non-beach day in Old Goa

Bike on wall in Old Goa

Today, we ventured through Old Goa to see some grandiose churches and cute little restaurants.  There wasn’t a whole lot to see in Old Goa, but it was nice to ride around on our bike and eat at local restaurants.

If you are on a motorbike, it might be worth checking out Se Cathedral and Basilica of Bom Jesus.

There a few restaurants in Old Goa that are geared for tourists, but I suggest trying some of the busy local thali places.  We are not vegetarians, but basically ate vegetarian our entire trip in India.  The veg thalis are so good that meat is really not needed!
